Mr Lee said: "In Singapore, I'm worried about what the people think of me. As long as the people understand that what I am doing is in their best interests and there is no alternative that is better than what, not just me but my successors, are offering, we are not doing too badly. "The final test is not whether you are rated by Amnesty International or Human Rights International, but the satisfaction of the people you are governing towards you and what you have delivered." -

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

The Good Deeds Remove the Evil Deeds

(Friday speech was delivered by Imam Mohamed Baianonie at the Islamic Center of Raleigh, N. C., on June 30,2000)

the good deeds remove the evil deeds. That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice)."

1- Repentance from the sins. Imam Muslim reported that the prophet (S.A.W.) said, "If anyone repents before the sun rises from the west, Allah will forgive him."

2- Praying two Rak’ahs and seeking forgiveness after doing bad deeds. An authentic Hadith reported by Imam Abu Dawod that the prophet (S.A.W.) said: "If a servant does a bad deed, then he makes a good wudu, and pray two Rak’ahs and seek Allah’s forgiveness, then Allah will forgive him."

3- The believer’s perseverance through hardship and crises. Imams Bukhari and Muslim reported that the prophet (S.A.W.) said, "Never a believer is stricken with a discomfort, an illness, an anxiety, a grief or mental worry of even the pricking of a thorn that his sins are not expiated for him. "

6- Performing the five daily prayers well and with humility.

7- Attending the Friday prayer and listening to the Khutbah without saying a word.

13- Giving charity WTF?

After saying all these Ahadith, we find how great the blessing of these righteous deeds and from its blessings is that Allah (S.W.T.) wipes out the sins and elevates the believers to higher levels. So, we should all make a conscious effort to perform them and increase them so that we get closer to Allah and our sins will be wiped out.

We ask Allah (S.W.T.) to accept our good deeds and help us perfect our worship to Him

oops

muslims are funny.

I know the Bible said have faith in God and nothing is too great that God can't do.But the Bible did say faith without works is dead.

I mean if i'm going diving in the ocean and ask God to protect me from sharks then i should carry a spear and carry protection.

Even the other night when I was walking pass 10 dogs,I asked God to protect me but I still picked up a rock just in case they would have tried to attacked me.

But some people in my school church said if I have enough faith in God,he will protect from the sharks and the dogs and I won't need to seek protection from anything else.

In that case I mite as well be unwise, and dumb and decide one day and say eh let me drive in my sister's car today without a seat belt because the lord will protect me.

Gosh someone please explain what should I as a Christian do? Use protection or just fully believe in God.

to repent from your sins, GOd said u can wash it away with your death, there are no other ways if u truly want god to forgive you, i will not feel sad for you but WE will be proud of ur determination to repent.
GOD will love you.

Part of that faith is knowing that God will equip us when need be. Obviously God isn't going to always provide some sort of physical protection, though He most certainly would be capable, but we already know He won't do everything for us. When we get sick, most of us usually don't just pray that God will heal us. We take medicine that He has given people the means and intelligence to create to help heal us. We don't usually sit around for weeks and allow ourselves to just be sick.
