more often than not,
we, singaporeans are easily identified.
" ytd i went shopping with my family, so fun!! we went to take neoprints and bought many many clothes!! i love shopping!"

does this sound a lil familiar in singapore-based blogs and journals?

while we are trying to be more westernized, we cant help being OUTSTANDING AT TIMES with the singlish and writing styles.

i dare not deny that i, as a singaporean writes about my daily life in such a manner too.

but, when u browse through foreign blogs, they are often about their country, their career , family and the govt, maybe even religion.
to us, they are mature writings compared to our, "how's my day" lifestyle.

in addition, we are living in a pampered society! i cannot find evidence to support that but many are talking about their lost family members, either dead or missing.
we are really living in a safe place.
we should love our country.


but why is our loyalty towards singapore almost negligible.
as i look around, read around, i oni see opposition.
i RARELY or never ever seen people saying"i love singapore"
as u see advertisements about hang ten's new teeshirts and polo tee, about i love singapore and such .
this is due to the arrival of national day. NOTHING MORE nothing.
I FEEL DISGUSTED AND EMBARRASSED, cos this country focus on work and work . without a source of income, we cannot survive in this comepetitive world.
therefore, singapore should focus more on" TIES " however late this is.

let's all reach our hands out and pray ,
for a better , a more friendly s'pore.
