CNY in a week a so, what comes to your mind when you think of it?

For some adults, Maybe it's the thought of having to give out red packets.
Is CNY a day involved with only money and just monetary gains and losses?
What is the use of the primary education we once had? About the origin of CNY and why we celebrate it?
In terms of such culture, we have lost to other races in this aspect, not to say that Chinese are quite pathetic culturally, because even the writer only wants to be involved with monetary gains on that occasion.
