Mr Lee said: "In Singapore, I'm worried about what the people think of me. As long as the people understand that what I am doing is in their best interests and there is no alternative that is better than what, not just me but my successors, are offering, we are not doing too badly. "The final test is not whether you are rated by Amnesty International or Human Rights International, but the satisfaction of the people you are governing towards you and what you have delivered." -

Most, if not all, says politics is boring, even if it involves singapore.
Today's econs talk at LT3/4 has been most interesting,at least it perked me up.
It had been a depressing week,WHAT makes an interesting blog?
Visual aids? content-wise?
i am still working on it.

Forum style ?

just a quick poll,

With Valentine's Day around the corner,
shops are busily displaying their wares and restaurants are
creating special menus for the big day. What are you likely to spend your money on?

WHAT? No way i am spending any money on my valentines, i would have to spend so much for 9 persons?
BAH!

Singapore's largest career fair to open in March

Dr Aloysius Tay, Executive Director, Association of Aerospace Industries, said: "We need about 2,000 technicians and engineers for the next 10 years on an annual basis to maintain our growth in the industry and we really want local Singaporeans to be trained as skilled technicians to enable the industry to grow."

Fabian Chew, President, Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, said: "The pavilion will not be a stand with companies offering jobs but a big part will be to offer general information for people who want to know more about the industry and to know more about the opportunities."

Career 2007 will be held at Suntec Singapore from March 1-4. - CNA/so
