GST buffer for low wage workers despite the GST hike =D


It seems to me that the govt is trying REALLY hard to close up the income gap between the rich and the poor. I believe it is partly due to rapid globalisation. BOOSTING of MNCs, and the URGENT need for skilled workforce. Singapore is trying its best not to leave anyone behind. If you lag behind, there is absolutely no chance for any revival , no matter how hard u try.
The longer one gets unemployed, the skills needed will no longer be sufficient, especially for manufacturing sector, our niche.

My bottomline is, GET YOURSELF A JOB NOW if u have been jobless for the past two months.
Do not make globalisation a plague. Think of it as a chance to earn more money. This is the period where EITHER ur income drops drastically or RISE insanely. For the middle-income grp. SAy byebye. You will stay there, eternally in the short run, unless things start to change.
